“Royal Beach” is a full-scale new construction project brought to life in collaboration with builder Kingswood Homes and architect Chad McDonald. Working closely with Chad throughout the design process, we carefully considered every aspect of the interior architecture to ensure the home not only functioned beautifully but also incorporated all of our clients' wishes and lifestyle needs.

From the initial plans to the final pillows, our team guided every detail of the design and construction of this stunning Kiawah Island retreat. We thoughtfully incorporated treasured antiques collected from the couple's primary residence, creating spaces that feel layered, personal, and uniquely their own. Their impressive art collection including several beautiful Picassos provided inspiration throughout the home and adds a sense of character and sophistication to each room.

While their primary residence leans heavily traditional with an abundance of antiques, the vision for this coastal getaway was different. The goal was to create a home that feels warm and inviting yet bright, clean, and effortless. Soft coastal influences, subtle beachy undertones, and a light, airy palette reflect the home's proximity to the beach, resulting in a timeless retreat that feels both refined and relaxed.
